What Is Pediatric Dentistry?

At Kissable Dental, we invite parents to schedule their child’s first trip to the dentist before their first birthday. From there, parents should ensure their children see the dentist at least twice a year for cleanings and exams. Our goal is to provide your child an enjoyable and stress-free visit to our Dallas, TX practice so they have a positive association with going to the dentist that will last a lifetime. During the dental visit, our expert team will evaluate the development of their teeth, look for any problems or areas of concern, and educate them on how best to keep a proper oral care routine at home. What to Expect from Pediatric Dentistry
Several problems can be addressed at your child’s dental visit. Typically, their appointment will consist of a dental exam and a professional cleaning. After the cleaning, a fluoride treatment might be administered to strengthen the teeth and enamel while they are developing. Additionally, dental sealants are often recommended to minimize tooth decay and cavities. Our dental team can also fix teeth that are already showing signs of decay or are chipped, damaged, or broken by creating an effective treatment plan. As your child gets older, we may suggest orthodontics to align their teeth, which may prevent future dental problems.

Kissable was an amazing experience! I had 2 cavities that needed filled and they went above and beyond! Not only did they fill my cavities they also glued down my permanent retainer that was coming up! The staff were so friendly and welcoming! And the quality of care is impeccable! Fantastic! I need a lot of work and they were amazing. Didn’t feel judged and every person I encountered was friendly. They worked with me on a treatment plan and were highly concerned about my comfort the entire time. A++++
Today is my very first visit with Kissable Dental. There are many positive things I like to share.
1. Having a very friendly staff is a plus point. They are very supportive and ready to share any information you seek.
2. Having an experienced doctor who can treat and care about you is another good plus point. As I was told, she has been with this same dental service provider for many years.
3. Not pushing to do things unnecessarily is a deal breaker for me. I have been to many dental offices for the last five years, and I felt very comfortable about not being pushed to spend money on other stuff than the immediate concern I have.
4. The office is very clean and comfortable. Seems the office has a lot of new tools which make patients life easy during treatments.
5. I had to take my 3 year old kid with me since it was an unplanned urgent appointment and the staff helped take care of him and I really want to thank the staff for that.

I had two great experiences here. They quickly took care of some things that have popped up since my last cleaning. I switched dentists due to changing insurance providers, and I appreciate how close to home this location is. I also had an opportunity to interact with several of the staff members—they are all incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient. There was no pressure to purchase additional services I didn’t want, which isn’t the case for every dentist I’ve been to. They’re eager to make sure you get the services you want and need.

This was my first time to Kissable dental. A family member referred me. The experience was great! Booking an appointment was easily done through their website. I was able to communication via text to send my insurance card info. Once there, everyone was friendly! They explained the procedures thoroughly before starting. I needed a couple of fillings and some plaque removal. It took a little bit to get used to the contraption they put in my mouth…a tongue guard. The massaging chairs and the sunglasses helped to calm me down…I get nervous when there’s a drill in my mouth. I was done in an hour, cavities taken care of…plaque gone and next appointment has been set. If you have any hesitations about going to your dentist, ditch them and come here! This has to be one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve ever had at a dentist. I was expecting some pain from my past experiences but to my surprise it was a wonderful feeling getting out of the chair without my blood pressure being raised lol. Oh and the nice addition of the TV on the ceiling is dope. It takes away that awkward feeling of staring up and not at the dentist lol. I highly recommend trying Kissable dental 🪥
Tears of joy! This office has exceeded my anxious expectations. I came in afraid of the work that needed to be done and left with a beautiful, amazing smile. The front office assistant, Diamond, greeted me with enthusiasm and kindness. The dental hygienist Juana was welcoming and listened to my concerns. Dr. Ho was nothing short of spectacular. I was very satisfied with my experience at Kissable Dental and also impressed with some of the technology they have that differs from other dentists. They were incredibly friendly, detailed and answered my many questions. I was impressed by their professionalism and how wonderful each staff member was in assisting me for my appointment. Overall great experience here at kissable dental. The workers were very welcoming and comforting while I was here. The service I received was a basic teeth cleaning and they exceeded my expectations and not to mention their dental chairs gives you a little massage while they work on your teeth. I will definitely be back again!
I had a good experience here for my first cleaning. Everyone was friendly and did good work. They have a referral program where you can get points to apply toward other procedures if needed, which I thought was helpful. There’s also an option to leave a Google review and they’ll waive the copay for the time being. I waited to leave a review so I could be sure the work was solid and would last. It’s been a few weeks and my teeth still feel clean. I would recommend anyone try them out!
First time patient and I would highly recommend them. Went to their website last night and scheduled my appointment for this morning. They called to confirm this morning and the entire process was very easy. All employees are friendly and let me know what was going on the entire time. Their equipment is more advanced than other dentists that I have been to. I will be back in 6 months.

I am very anxious about going the dentist, but they made the experience very pleasant. The entire staff was extremely courteous and professional, and not only am I considering making them my permanent dentist, but I’ll probably take my wife and friends also!

I can not say enough good things about this place! I have very bad anxiety at the dentist and they always listen to my concerns and give me time to relax before proceeding any further.
